A Typical Day
The mornings will involve two to three hours of music making, be it playing or singing in ensemble, learning and sharing technique or being introduced to new repertoire. We have a tea break at around 11am and are ready for lunch at 1pm.
Lunch is either a pic-nic on the shore of Loch Long or, if the weather is a wee bit wet, in a tea shop nearby. For the Isle of Raasay holiday, lunch will be provided in the hotel.
In the afternoon the choice of activity is guided by the weather. There are a host of things to see and do in the Kintail area. See information. For those who wish to play, play and play again rather than join in with excursions, we can arrange this also.
We meet up for another music session in the early evening before the evening meal.
Some days will be the reverse of the above and we will work on music in the afternoon after a mornings excursion.
