On booking you will be given a personal information pack which will give clear details of the coures you have chosen, but here are some general questions regarding the holidays.

What standard do I need to be?

At Highland Music Holidays we cater for all standards. Instrumentalists and singers alike will benefit from a basic ability to read music. We cater for all standards from beginners to professionals. Our tutors regulary work with musicians who are at the beginning of their training as well as with aspiring soloists in a music academy environment.Our ensemble is chosen with a view to keeping everyone busy!

I'm interested in the singing holiday. Will I be required to bring songs with me?

Yes. As well as ensemble singing you will get the chance to study your favourite songs with Richard Roddis and enjoy the accompaniment of one of Europe's finest pianists Jennifer Partridge.

Will my instrument be safe when I am away from the hotel?

Yes. We have a locked room for the storage of all instruments.

I am visiting Scotland from abroad and would prefer not to bring my instrument with me. Can you provide me with an instrument?

Yes. On booking, please inform us that you wish to hire an instrument. Terms of hire are on the booking form.

I have special dietry requirements. Can you cater for me?

Yes. Please give details on your booking form.

What is included in the price of the holiday?

Breakfast and one meal are included when the holidays is a hotel based week. All tuition and classes. Excursions such as walks, sight-seeing are included, but any entrance fees or ferry fees are to be met by the participant. Any private lessons can be arranged at extra cost of £28 per hour. All music copies are included. Artists often have their own music books for sale.
