Highland Music Holidays hand pick our tutors for their international acclaim and expertise, but we have also chosen them for their fantastic personalities and sense of fun. This is a holiday after all!

In 2008 we are pleased to welcome Ian and Jennifer Partridge who will share their expert knowledge on songs of all ages. Anne Macdearmid will be on the Isle of Raasay and will unearth some of the Raasay traditional harp music as well as music from the Kintail area. Margaret Knight will welcome harp players of all abilities and will teach music and songs from around the world.

Each holiday is suitable for all ages and abilities. Beginners and more advanced players will work together without feeling under or over challenged. A thread of enjoyment throughout your music making is what Highland Music Holidays are all about.

Half Term Family Holiday

Whilst the budding young musicians enjoy making music together, the adults can also play.................at being a tourist in Scotland's most beautiful corner! This holiday is designed for younger musicians and all instruments and percussion(aged 6 to 15). When the parents are out visiting gardens,Brochs,castles,wildlife centres and generally having a good time,the young musicians will work together towards a ceilidh at the close of the week. All instruments are welcome and we can arrange hire instruments for those wishing to travel light.

Children may of course choose to leave their parents at home - thats fine too! Our tutors are experienced,qualified and generally great fun!
